Romantic Western Books?

Red River Ranch is an aspiring place in these cowboy romances. A medium size ranch with vast fencing, ponds, and spotted with woods across its five thousand plus acres. It's founding begins with“Dear Darling Lilli,” a story in 1896, the narrative centers on William Sullivant, an orphan who longs for the expansive plains and the sound of his own cattle and horses racing across the open range. Driven by his lifelong aspirations, he starts a journey to Texas, with the goal of finally gaining the ranch he’s longed yearned for. There, he encounters a neighbor, a woman rancher and suffragette, with an air of determination, who possesses her own unique perspective on the concept of love in the Victorian West. The women in Cam's books, all cowgirls, are independent, but when a certain cowboy enters into their lives, it's 'Katie, bar the door!'

The Sullivant family drives the story line of Red River, as they transform from a cattle company to a rodeo-producing livestock ranch, highlighting the hardworking Sullivant sons and the equally resilient women.

               Western Romance Series

With down to earth characters, Dear Darling Lilli is set in the late 1800s. A Cowboy Romance Novel, it begins with young William and Finn Sullivant who live with their mother and stepfather. The family travels in two oxen-drawn covered wagons, laden with their belongings as they roam in search of farm work.

They used the oxen to remove stumps from farmers' fields in exchange for free shelter in the abandoned cabins that dotted the vast farm lands in Arkansas, and they collected firewood to sell during the winter months.

Their stepfather was a hard man, particularly with the responsibility of providing for two teenage boys. He made it clear to them that they had reached the age where they needed to begin fending for themselves.

With loathing for their stepfather and afraid of the unknown, they bid their momma farewell, and started in their worn-out shoes for the river to cross to Memphis with a bag of jerky and their meager possessions. Clutching fifty cents, hearts heavy with uncertainty, they found jobs. Finn became a dishwasher. William worked at a stable. In a few years, through hard work, William set off to Texas to carry out his dream of being a ranch owner. In the process, he falls in love with his  suffragette ranch-owning neighbor, Lillian. A modern woman, she declared no man would hold authority over her. Well, here’s what happened . . .

Cowboy Romance Book Series,

"The Four Steps" introduces you to Burn at the age of 19, who accidentally ran into Riley during his final High School Rodeo. He'd been thinking about her after watching her groom her horse. Trying not to get entangled with any girls while there, Fate wasn't listening when Burn's horse shoved him into her.

Clinging together to not fall, they immediately liked one another. Added to that, when the crowd burst into a thundering roar, their applause reverberated through the atmosphere, and the intoxicating scent of fresh hay and horses took them to heights that rodeo contestants live for. Between events, they used Burn's truck to talk which soon turned into kissing. When they parted, they planned to meet after the barrel race.

During the round, an unforeseen calamity struck, forcing them to separate before they could cement a plan to meet again.

Years had passed with them living in different states and having no contact, but fate intervened again, reuniting them at a professional rodeo. Riley, having given up on men after Burn's lack of communication, initially managed to dodge another encounter with him at the Fort Worth Rodeo. Yet, Burn's determination to understand her evasion was unyielding. It was at the subsequent rodeo in Waco that their story took a transformative turn.
