About
COWBOY ROMANCE  BOOKS
written with a passion for the western romance genre that has become a favorite of thousands.

Always a nature lover, painter, and horse trainer, writing wasn't part of Cam's plans for a while. Recently, she discovered her knack for “painting” stories. Born in the city, she never had the opportunity to own a horse until she met her husband, Charlie, a cowboy. Barrel racing, which gained popularity as an equine event, eventually became her "addiction." Rodeo was not only a lot of fun, but it was also both Charlie's and her favorite venue, reflecting their true passion. It's commonly believed that everyone wants to win at something, even if it’s just starting the day on a positive note.

It was only natural for her to gravitate toward writing romantic western novels, as her heart belonged to horses and cowboys. Her writing reflects her genuine experiences and emotions. She believes a well-rounded story includes a captivating romance featuring strong men—cowboys and cowhands—each with their own unique narratives. And let’s not forget the women, each with their individuality, like stars in the sky, making everyone distinct.

Included among her best cowboy romance novels is DEAR DARLING LILLI AND THE FOUR STEPS. "Lilli" is set in the late 1800s and depicts the founding of Red River Ranch. She also has a passion for history and has extensively researched the early cowboys of the Western region.

Regarding this, Cam wants to share that she was born as  WWII ended. She has experienced quite a bit in her life! From the day she was born, horses have always been her passion. Long before she came along, a Thoroughbred racetrack still existed at the fairgrounds in Memphis. During her teenage years, she spent a lot of time at the old stables, which housed a variety of horses and featured a large oval riding ring. One of these stables was operated by Maude Burbank, whose mother performed in Buffalo Bill Cody’s traveling show.

Several horses she trained won at rodeos and earned Superior Barrel Racing status with the AQHA association. Although she is not currently competing, she has trained barrel horses for many years.

Out of her love for the western lifestyle, she wrote “The Four Steps,” a story about cowboys, cowgirls, ranches, and rodeos that many may find unfamiliar. Her hope is that as you delve into these novels centered around cowboys, you’ll immerse yourself in the thrill and emotional roller coaster that horses and good-hearted men provide—a true gift from above.
